As part of the Emergency Flood Works Response Plan, culvert upgrades were required for the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen (RDOS) through the farmlands of Oliver to help with water management. Challenges for this project included working in and around environmentally sensitive wetlands, working in and around bodies of water, and working with tight deadlines to beat the Spring rush. This project included construction of a berm, the installation of 35 m of 2134mm x 1524mm box culvert, and reshaping, grading and stabilization of the existing water corridor to  improve flood management.
